looking through your archives, some great work
thanks brah
Hey, Im looking for an affordable scanner (for 120 negs) and software set up. I had asked Evan (tetreault) on here too and he recommended an Epson v500 or 550 scanner with a Program I believe is called silver fast. Always love how your scans look so I wanted to ask your opinion too. My budget is ... low.. But im willing to save up for something if it's worth it. Thanks!
i use an epson v500, it was less than 200$ and come’s with software that works fine. i scan my negatives with epson scan and edit with photoshop.. silverfast has a nice setup and some cool negative presets, but if you’re on a budget I wouldn’t worry about getting other software.
the only bad thing about the v500 is that the negative tray is small.. after each frame you scan you’ve got to open the scanner and tray to slide the negatives up. but i’d still buy it.
What lens were you using to shoot those prom photos?
